Alliance Resident Davis Makes Congressional Run Official

Speaking of interesting residents, Rebekah Davis made her run for Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District official today. The Lincoln Journal Star has the story here. I remember Davis, who is about seven years younger than I, as an utterly adorable little fireball with a booming singing voice and a stage presence that marked her as a star from the very beginning.

Now 28 and Yale-educated, Davis is sure to prove herself as a force of nature in this race. I hope I'll be able to nail her down for an interview. She apparently is spending an awful lot of time on the road these days. That's understandable when the district she's targeting looks like this.
